Seton Hall University’s All Time Scorers

There I am, current #8 on Seton Hall University’s list of top goal-scorers of all time. I made nine goals in four years there. Two ladies who are on the current roster are both within one goal of me (and by within a goal, I mean one girl is a goal behind and the other is tied with me), so they both will certainly surpass me before their time is up. Looks like I might hold out for one more year on the list (at 10th). That’s good enough for me. I have no private needs to preserve my legacy…I’d much rather see my Pirates make some wins. So to all you up-and-comers…make some goals! We need to refresh this list!

kick what?…….Kick-Medic!!!

Look what came in the mail today! The kick-medic, created as a cure for the common kick. Need to hone those kicking skills? Practice your throw-ins or punts? This puppy has 5-100 feet of slack, so you can do just about anything with it. I used to have a Soccer Pal when I was younger, and I learned the best way to improve my strike on the ball was through repetition. Since you can pull back on the return-line, that means you can even play in the house (but shhhh! don’t tell mom!). This also helped me TONS when I was first learning to juggle. For some reason, it’s way less frustrating to yank up on the rope when you lose the ball than it is to chase the ball down and start over. Plus, it helps you keep your rhythm. Kick medics are only 30 bucks plus shipping and handling. If you’re serious about your soccer and improving your skills, not a bad investment!
**Note: Soccer Pal is also a great learning tool for soccer. It doesn’t do quite as much as the Kick Medic (not as much return-line and also doesn’t have the ability to plug into the ground), however, at $9.99, it’s definitely worth it for those who practice alone and want that extra training assistance, but aren’t quite ready to fork over the $30.
Also, Be Warned: Soccer balls are not included in the price of these products. Obviously.
